- Savannah - Richard Alden Vogler, 62, died December 30, 2010 at Candler Hospital. He was born in Savannah and resided in California for many years prior to moving back to Savannah eight years ago. Mr. Vogler was a United States Army Veteran having served tours in Vietnam and Germany. He was a self employed plumber. His father, Paul A. Vogler preceded him in death.
Surviving are his mother, Edna Mills Vogler; sister, Beverly Vogler, sister, Carol Ann Vogler Dinkins and her husband, David; brother, Tom Vogler and his wife, Brenda; two nieces and one nephew.
The funeral service will be private.

Hello, So sorry Rick has passed. I served in Vietnam with a Richard Volger in Co B of the 299th Engrs. I wonder if this is the same Rick that I served with. Tom

Aunt Edna, Carol, Beverly and Tommy I'm so sorry to hear about Ricky, although I never had the opportunity to meet him, Carol spoke often on her older brother while we were growing up. I know you'll miss him. My prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
